Set of six souvenir glasses from Goninan’s 18th Annual Ball, likely in 1969.
Goninan’s originally based in Wickham, Newcastle, made coal skips and wagons from 1899. They moved to Broadmeadow in 1921, becoming a manufacturer of railway equipment, trains, rail carriages etc… the company also manufacturers mining machinery and is part of UGL.
Glasses measure 9cm in height.
No chips or damage, apart from a small amount of gold rubbed away from top rims of glasses.
