The Adelaide Historical Bottle Club Inc. presents the South Australian Collectables Fair and Exhibition every year. Founded in 1971, the Bottle Club Inc. originally focused on bottles and South Australian history. In recent years, however, the club has attracted collectors with diverse interests, ranging from kitchenware and coins to vintage tools. Open to anyone with a passion for collecting, the club has a broad membership base, including both local South Australians and interstate enthusiasts.
Each year the Club proudly presents the prestigious South Australian Collectables Fair and Exhibition. This event attracts many interstate exhibitors and stall holders along with the local group of collectors. With over 100 large exhibits and more than 80 swap-and-sell stalls, it offers a diverse range of collectables from glassware, 1960s memorabilia, bottles, toys, pot lids, oil cans, porcelain, militaria, jewellery and many other fascinating collectables. All of the exhibits are judged by an expert panel of judges where the winners, trophies and prizes are announced and presented on day two of the event.
This fair is a must-visit for anyone with an interest in rare and unique items, showcasing everything from antiques to modern-day treasures. Whether you’re an experienced collector or just curious, there’s something for everyone. Many interstate entries have been received, and some world-class items will be on display, truly something for everyone.
The 2026 Fair and Exhibition is being held on the Saturday and Sunday of the June long weekend, 6th and 7th June, at the Port Adelaide Recreation Centre, 50 St Vincent Street, opposite Harts Mill. in historic Port Adelaide South Australia.
There is food, tea, coffee and refreshments on sale at the Kiosk.
