The Sunshine face electric jug was made by Sunshine Electrix, a Melbourne-based company operating from the 1930s to the 1970s.
The jugs were characterised by having a face moulded into the body, thought to be based on the likeness of a Mr. T. Barclay, a director of Sunshine Electrix.
This Sunshine face jug dates to c.1940s.
