Capital Bazaar is Canberra’s newest Antique, Vintage and Collectables centre that opened in August 2024. Our store currently hosts over 25 vendors with room to host more. We have a big family friendly atmosphere at Capital Bazaar, we are a collaborative team who support one another. We praise our vendors who work hard each and every week to source, re-stock and curate beautiful spaces that allow our customers the freedom to move around and rummage through a range of affordable vintage and antique goodies including vintage furniture, artwork, records, vintage tools, brass, copper, silver, jewellery, garagenalia, outdoor furniture, pots, statues and rusty garden goodness.
Owners Alex and Nicky pride themselves in getting to know their customers and providing friendly and personal service. We truly value our customers’ feedback and the word-of-mouth advertising that they share with their friends and family. We frequently welcome visitors from interstate and all across Australia. Alex has 20 years’ experience dealing in various vintage and antique collectables and furniture and has expanded his own Mid Century furniture business So Last Century mcm which he has successfully built over the last eight years.
Our store has a fresh, tidy look with wide wheelchair friendly aisles and spaces. We welcome customers of all ages and walks of life. Our young adults and new families appreciate our affordable, flexible options and free delivery within Canberra. Our mature customers appreciate taking a step back in time and reminiscing on their own upbringing. We provide advice and assistance for those looking to downsize in retirement or to families who are managing their relatives’ estates.
