Kurri Kurri Nostalgia Festival

The fabulous Kurri Kurri Nostalgia Festival was held in 2026 on the weekend of 27th to 29th March, made possible by the continued support of our major sponsors, local, national, and international visitors and the hard work of the volunteers from Towns With Heart Inc., VRA, Neath RFS and many more.

The Kurri Kurri Nostalgia Festival is now in its second decade and has established itself as one of the Hunter’s premier festivals, featuring all things retro, rock n roll, cars, music, fashion and dancing.

The weekend attracted crowds of people to our town, making it one of the largest festivals of its kind in Australia and a feature tourism event. We welcomed visitors from every state and are proud to showcase our region through this fabulous festival, which has something for all ages. Visitors enjoyed participating in best dressed competitions, talent quests, car competitions and a range of free entertainment and ticketed events. Dressing up and dancing in the streets was just part of the fun!

Antiques To Vintage magazine also ran a Whats It Worth service at the Festival in conjunction with Theodore Bruce Auctioneers and Valuers. Locals from nearby and further afield brought in their treasures to discuss their story with the Valuers and get an idea of just what they would be worth at auction. There were definitely some happy surprises.

Keep your eye on this page and on the Festival website for news regarding the 2027 Festival as soon as its available.

Proudly presented by Cessnock City Council.

See you there next year.
