The inaugural Mid North Antique Fair & Roadshow is a unique community event celebrating antiques, history, storytelling and the treasures of our region. More than an Antique Fair, it is a living, breathing celebration of history, where attendees are invited not only to observe, but to engage: to see, touch, hear, and learn from the stories that have shaped the region.
Set within the breathtaking grounds of Koonowla Estate, established in 1861 by Colonel William Barkla, the event draws deeply on a sense of place and history.
The event will bring together antique enthusiasts, collectors, locals and visitors from across South Australia for a one-day experience featuring antique displays, valuations, workshops/talks, entertainment, market stalls, high tea, speakeasy, history rooms, instant-buy retro/vintage fashion parades and food vendors.
The Mid North Antique Fair & Roadshow is intentionally designed to enjoy as a full-day, slow experience, encouraging visitors to linger, explore and immerse themselves. It celebrates not only objects, but stories, skills, and community connections, positioning the Mid North as a vibrant destination for cultural and heritage regional tourism.
