Strathalbyn Antiques & Vintage Fair + 2 Day Treasure Market

16 August 2025

to 17 August 2025

Good things come in twos and the annual Strathalbyn Antiques and Vintage Fair and 2-Day Treasure Market is no exception.

Held over two days on the weekend of 16th and 17th August 2025 in the two well-appointed and spacious venues at the Strathalbyn Oval, there will be a feast of antiques and collectables.

Outside around the perimeter of the oval there will be sixty or more stalls at the Rotary Treasure Market. Well-known and respected antique dealers, both local and interstate, have registered to attend this annual event to showcase their collections including militaria, jewellery, silverware, fine china and glassware and much more.

Stallholders at the Rotary Treasure Market have an eclectic mix of treasures just waiting to be discovered. The trend towards reusing and recycling will keep the antique and vintage trade vibrant into the future as the treasures unearthed undergo ‘adaptive reuse’ by craftspeople to be reimagined and to resurface in a new guise.

For a fully immersive experience, come for the weekend and stay in one of the attractive local B&Bs. Experience the tranquil rural location, open fires in the pub for dinner, a brisk walk through the lovely gardens beside the river and explore the range of antiques and boutique shopping to suit all interests, as well as cafes with great food and coffee.

Gilbert’s Motor Museum will be convening a two-day market in the museum carpark and will be open for visitors on the same weekend, as will the Strathalbyn National Trust Heritage Centre housed in the heritage-listed old Court House and Police Station.
