One of your favourite regional antique fairs is almost here!
The 2026 Strathalbyn Antiques and Vintage Fair and Two-Day Treasure Market will be held on the weekend of the 15th and 16th of August. The two well-appointed halls at the Strathalbyn Oval Complex will hold a feast of antiques and collectables whilst outside around the oval there will be dozens of Treasure Market stalls. You’ll be sure to find all manner of things just perfect for the home, garden, office and man cave.
Among the carefully curated collections of local and interstate dealers exhibiting inside you’ll find jewellery, china, glassware, militaria, books and all sorts of familiar and unusual pieces you’ll want to own. The outside traders will add another dimension to the weekend with their jumble of trash and treasure. Got a creative streak? Who knows what you’ll come across to re-imagine, re-invent and re-home.
Entry into the oval complex to attend both fair halls and the Treasure Market is only $5 per day (accompanied children under 12 free).
Gilbert’s Motor Museum on High Street will be holding a two-day market in their car park and offering a special Antique Fair weekend entry price into the museum of just $5.00.
Strathalbyn is only 45 minutes from Adelaide, but why not visit for the whole weekend and stay in one of the B & B’s or motels? Unwind by taking a brisk walk or leisurely stroll through the Soldiers Memorial Gardens beside the river. Have a meal in one of the local pubs or cafes. Browse through the renowned antique shops and specialty stores.
