An Usher’s Whisky water carafe. Andrew Usher & Co. of Edinburgh revolutionised the whisky industry in the 1840s by perfecting the art of blending malt and grain whisky. As the first recognised Master Blender, Usher’s creation of Old Vatted Glenlivet (OVG) in 1853 made Scotch accessible, consistent and globally popular.
