This vintage 1960s teak cheese cutting board with a built in knife was designed by Jens Quistgaard for the American firm of Dansk International Designs. Famously, Quistgaard sculpted his own toys from wood scraps until he received blacksmith tools at the age of 14, when he began making jewellery and knives. Quistgaard remained the principle designer for Dansk until the 1980s.
