An impressive Moorcroft Pottery jardiniere from the sought-after ‘Fairy Rings’ series, designed by Philip Gibson, produced in 1987.
This 500L form features a vivid ring of stylised yellow mushrooms rising against a deep cobalt and mottled green ground, rendered in Moorcroft’s signature tube-lining technique. Beautifully proportioned with bold Art Nouveau lines and a high-gloss glaze, this piece displays fine crazing to some areas and the base, consistent with age.
The jardiniere is clearly marked and in excellent condition. 23cm high x 23.5cm diam.
