Argentinian sterling silver horse racing trophy plate

This beautiful sterling silver trophy plate was presented to the owner of the winning horse for the 1 -1/4 miles (2,000m) turf race for 3-year-olds by the Gran Premio Jockey Club in San Isidro, Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1965.
The horse was named Tai and his sire and dam were Tahoe and Barvela respectively, both thoroughbred Argentinian horses.
An elegant piece sure to appeal to collectors of fine racing silver.

Measurements: 32.5 by 32.5 cm plate measurements. 819 grams total weight.
Good vintage condition, several hairline scratches as pictured. Light wear overall commensurate with age. Marks crisp and clear.
