A beautiful Art Deco bracelet, crafted in the United States circa 1920–1935, featuring finely detailed rhodium-plated filigree panels set with vibrant ruby-pink paste stones. Elegant, geometric and highly wearable, it captures the refined glamour of early twentieth-century costume jewellery.
The bracelet is composed of three elongated filigree links, each decorated with intricate openwork detail and centred with a smaller square-cut ruby-pink paste stone. These alternate with three larger, deeply faceted square-cut pink paste stones, each bezel set in decorative mounts. The bold contrast between the bright rhodium finish and vivid pink stones gives the bracelet a striking Art Deco presence.
Rhodium plating became especially popular during the Art Deco period for its crisp, bright white finish and resistance to tarnish. High-quality paste stones were also widely used in fine costume jewellery of the era, carefully cut and polished to echo the appearance of precious gemstones. Similar bracelets were produced by leading American makers including Coro, Trifari and Krementz.
The bracelet retains its original spring-ring clasp, which remains in excellent working order. Presented in superb condition, with no damage or losses and only a soft age-related patina consistent with careful preservation.
