Here is a fabulous opal and diamond ring that is as beautiful as it is unique.
Made in 18 carat yellow gold in London in 1895, in the centre sits a solid Australian opal that is highlighted with a European diamond cut above and below, then four more European cut diamonds on each split shoulder that delicately graduate down in size. These diamonds come together to total 1.06 carats and with a further single cut diamond on each side of the opal that total 0.04 carats, this makes this ring certainly sparkle and will catch the eye of anyone near or far.
Measuring 12.6mm wide at the centre by 19.6mm across, this is a wonderful example of an antique ring that will surprise so many when they discover when it was made and still how incredibly beautiful it is.
