This high quality Royal Worcester plate was crafted in 1936 by the famed makers.
Hand painted by renowned Artist and Royal Worcester favourite, Richard Sebright, this plate is a fine example for the collector.
This plate is special as it is stamped by Royal Worcester with the ‘Aspreys’ of London mark, as it was specially commissioned to be exclusively retailed at Aspreys only.
The base is a lovely dark grey which is a stunning backdrop to the perfectly preserved gilded pattern which overlays it. The gilding is very intricately detailed and is a wonderful contrast to the glaze. There are tiny bright green enamelled dots throughout the plate which are all intact. The centre of the plate features beautifully hand painted fruit (grapes and apples) in the quintessential Royal Worcester style.
