Not only was this engraved silver locket made over 130 years ago and is still in wonderful condition, but both sides have been so beautifully hand engraved that no matter which side you decide to show off, this locket will no doubt always be admired.
Dating from the Victorian era of the 1890s, it was made in sterling silver and measures 3.4cm across by 5.7cm to the top of the bail which has also been hand engraved, and inside will hold two photos.
The time and expertise that would have gone into engraving this all by hand shows the quality of skill that was achieved all those years ago and remains just as exciting and beautiful today as when it was made.
