An elegant set of antique high Victorian sterling silver tongs with pierced pattern and marks for Chawner & Co., London, 1855
Made by Chawner & Co. during the George Adams period, one of our favourite firms and makers. Chawner & Co. were fine and prolific makers, supplying retailers such as Hunt & Roskell, R.& S. Garrard & Co & Elkington & Co.
Measurements: 25cm length from handle to tip, 8.5cm height. 188 grams.
Excellent antique condition. Marks crisp and wellstruck.
