Classic vintage pink Sunbeam Mixmaster.
Introduced in the United States in 1930, the Mixmaster was the first electric mixer with two interlocking, detachable beaters. The design was introduced into Australia in 1948; the American-owned Sunbeam company produced its second model for the Australian market in 1950. This new model boasted automatic bowl-speed control as well as beater-speed control.
Sunbeam bean designing products in its own Australian design studio in the late 1970s. By that time the Sunbeam Mixmaster had become the most popular mixmaster on the Australian market.
