This Mobo ‘Bronco’ was made by D. SEBEL & CO, Kent, England.
This version was made from 1947 to 1950. The rider pushes down on the stirrups, then releases them and the horse moves forward. It is still functional.
The horse is made of pressed tin. It does have some dents etc from use – hence the ‘as found’. It is on rubber wheels.
Sebel, who made the Mobo toys, also made steel furniture – eg the Sebel stacker chairs – some of which can sell for around $100 each. More information is found here:
