This is a very stylish Australian pottery bowl in terracotta with a lid. It has intricate glaze around the lid. The inside has also been glazes in a white glaze. It is thought to be by an artist in the Adelaide Hills but I have been unable to confirm who the maker is.

This ornately carved and heavy hat stand is not very old but has excellent style and practicality. The top swivels for easy access. The base is very heavily decorated and is also heavy to make the stand very stable. It does not require a lot of space.
Vintage medical tool, veterinary fleam

Vintage veterinary medical tool – a brass-cased triple-blade veterinary’s fleam. 9cm long. These instruments with their triangular-shaped blades were designed to be placed over the vein of the animal (most commonly the jugular or saphenous) and struck with a fleam stick. This would ideally result in rapid penetration of the vein for bloodletting.
